What is Dopax?
Dopax is desktop software for creating and operating AI agents in shared rooms. It helps you give agents names, roles, workspaces, files, approvals, and scheduled work from one desktop surface.
Is Dopax free?
Dopax Preview is currently free. Paid plans may be introduced for higher usage, priority releases, advanced room configuration, and expanded provider options.
Which operating systems are supported?
Dopax is planned for macOS, Windows, and Linux desktop use. Preview access and installers may be delivered gradually while releases are tested.
Does Dopax include AI model access?
Dopax can connect to supported third-party agent runners and providers. Some providers may require your own account, subscription, API key, or local setup.
What agent runners does Dopax support?
Dopax is designed to work with runners such as Codex, Claude Code, Gemini, OpenCode, Cursor, and other compatible tools as availability and local setup permit.
Can agents access my local files?
Agents can work with files, folders, and attachments that you intentionally provide or bind to a room. Review room settings and approval prompts before connecting sensitive workspaces.
How do approvals work?
Sensitive actions can create approval requests before execution. You stay responsible for reviewing agent output and deciding whether a proposed action should continue.
